The Quranic Arabic Year One is delivered at different levels, so you can join at the right stage. If you have studied Arabic before but have not practised speaking Quranic Arabic, we may recommend starting at an earlier level to build fluency properly.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, you will be able to understand the Quran.
Our programme is designed to help you understand the Quran directly by learning Classical/Quranic Arabic in a practical and structured way.
You’ll learn the grammar, vocabulary, sentence patterns, and expressions that appear throughout the Quran, while also using Arabic actively through speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Yes, speaking Quranic Arabic is central to the our programme and to the way it is taught.
We use the Matrix "learn-by-doing" Method which is a workshop-style approach to learning. From your very first lesson, you will start forming sentences, answering questions, practising with classmates, and using Quranic vocabulary in real conversation.
Our part-time pathway is designed to take students towards fluency in only 2 years!
Our success is demonstrated by the fact that hundreds of students arrived at the Arabica Institute with little to no Arabic language experience and are now fluent in Quranic Arabic. Our graduates understand the Quran, can speak Classical Arabic fluently, and many are studying the Islamic Sciences in Arabic medium.
Like many of our students you will progress from basic sentence-building using words from the Quran, to confident conversation, Quranic understanding and advanced Arabic comprehension.
At the Arabica Institute we offer both Arabic for understanding the Quran and Arabic for Speaking.
Most other schools do one or the other, meaning their programmes rely too heavily on students memorising words and grammar rules, leaving students unable to speak Arabic.
What makes the Arabica Institute unique is that the Journey to Quranic Arabic Fluency Programme centres on active learning offering both Arabic for understanding the Quran and developing students to speak Classical Arabic fluently.
Lessons are interactive, workshop-style, and speaking-lead. You learn Quranic grammar by using it and learn Quranic vocabulary by applying it and connecting it to real examples and meaningful conversations.
It can be difficult to choose a program that is suitable for you, this is why we offer students that chance get first-hand experience of our lessons, so that you can choose in confidence.
Enjoy our interactive workshop style lessons and start using Arabic immediately. Meet our teachers, experience the Matrix Method and understand how the programme works before making any commitment.
